We celebrated our May birthdays today! Thank you Crescent Hospice for the delicious cake. It is always so delicious.
Today is pickle day! We celebrated with a pickle tasting party. We enjoyed dill pickles, bread and butter pickles, and pickle flavored potato chips!
We went on another fun joy ride today! After stopping by the strawberry stand to pick up some delicious fresh picked strawberries, we enjoyed some strawberry shortcake!
We are so lucky to have great staff that like to engage in fun activities with our residents. This past weekend our med tech Amber threw a party for our residents. The sunglasses and snacks made their day!
Our Oakhaven residents had lots of fun this past week. They enjoyed bowling, target shooting, and an ice cream social. Thank you to All Seasons Hospice for the delicious ice cream!
We took a bus ride out to the strawberry patch today. We picked fresh strawberries, enjoyed the scenery, and left with a delicious treat!
Muffins and mimosas for moms! Lots of smiling. Reagan Roper donated chocolates, flowers and balloons. Victoria Gadecki created beautiful homemade tissue paper flowers. Some very special ladies enjoyed a very special day.
Ashley Elliott, Executive Director of Oakleaf Village, presented 100 gifts for teachers/staff at Lexington Middle School. Particularly a great kickoff of Teacher’s Appreciation Week!
Happy Nurses Day to our very own Jenny Richards. She has been taking care of our residents at Oakleaf since 2004. She is wonderful with the residents and we appreciate everything she does!
